There are numerous sites for finding attractions and businesses. We list several here. Official State Tourism Websites are also a great resource for finding attractions.

On AAA's site, there are destinations guides which are accessible by clicking on the Travel link and then under Research & Planning, clicking on the Online Tourbook Destination Guides link. The guides contain information such as attractions, events, and AAA approved lodging.

America's Byways is a site funded by the United States Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration. You can search for scenic byways by clicking on the map. The Featured Travel Stories section contains interesting stories accompanied by pictures of scenic byways. Some titles include "Gardens on America's Byways" and "Romantic Escapes." On the home page, there's a slideshow of photos. If you click on the Share Experiences Link, you can read posts by other travelers. It's a very well done site with a wealth of information, a site not to be missed if you are planning a road trip.
